Summary
This is just an overview, not a review. We did not test the Xodus 10 yet.The Saucony Xodus 10 is a maximal trail running shoe designed to provide the highest level of protection on the most difficult terrain. Completely overhauled from previous versions, the Xodus 10 is much lighter and more comfortable than before.
The midsole is made of full length PWRRUN+ responsive cushioning which protects against sharp rocks and debris on the trail whilst giving good energy return. This is an update from previous versions containing Everun foam. The PWRRUN foam is made from beads (similar to Adidas Boost) and is 25% lighter, softer and more springy than Everun.
The outsole is made of PWRTRAK rubber, which is specifically designed for trail running and gives much more traction than traditional rubber. Deep flex grooves throughout the length of the shoe mean the Xodus 10 easily adapts to a variety of terrain.
The upper is made from a supportive open high abrasion mesh, and contains FORMFIT, which is found in Saucony's trail running range to protect feet from debris on the trails
