So far it’s the most comfortable pair I’ve had pleasure of having 😀
Tried trailing in those once, but was pretty rough without ankle support(wasn’t trail running specifically, more like general hike on a trail). Had to switch back to my LOWA for the second part of the hike sadly(I knew this could’ve been the case, hence why I had ’em on me). Overall solid 9/10 especially considering I’m well over 210lbs! Might give Hoka once you’ve listed a try, I think nearby sports store https://gritroutdoors.com/ has those in stock!

If there’s one thing that has put me off are heavy shoes – the Nike Pegasus 34 and Brooks Levitate (original) come to mind. I’ve run in the Nike Epic React and they are to date my best running shoe experience and were far more durable than some other brands I’ve used. So not all heavier runners need a heavy neutral shoe.
